When I visited this incredible ancient site, I felt like I’d stepped into an Indiana Jones movie and had become an explorer and adventurer. The structures and the culture they represent is so fascinating!

Chichén Itzá is one of the greatest Mayan cities and is located on the Yucatán peninsula.

The Mayans were a native or indigenous people group who lived in this area of México as well as Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, and Honduras. Their descendants still live in México, and many speak the Mayan language.
